Standard office furniture might be too large for the space; too industrial looking for the home or made of materials that just don’t look right. These problems certainly don’t make working from home any more enjoyable or efficient.

Creating an efficient “work from home” environment presents several challenges; unique room shapes and lay-outs combined with the fact that many standard desks, credenzas and bookcases are just too big for the home office, which very well might be a repurposed second bedroom. The result is often a jumble of mismatched components; hardly the recipe for a pleasant and productive working environment.
Your home is your nest and it should feel warm, comfortable and cozy – Danes have a wonderful word for this feeling: “hygge“.

Using our computer aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) process, we design and create customized work environments for the home and small office that are scaled to fit the constraints of existing spaces and tailored to the needs of the client.
Our furniture is crafted from solid, locally-sourced hardwoods, finished with non-toxic plant oils and beeswax, all done in our Brooklyn NY workshop. You are welcome to visit our showroom and workshop in the Brooklyn Navy Yard to see examples of our work as well as see how and where it is made.
