Our Willoughby Platform Bed uses time-tested bolted construction and solid, locally sourced hardwoods – designed and built to last for generations.
The bed is designed for a mattress only – an array of hardwood slats supports and ventilates the mattress.
Offered in cherry, walnut and red oak.

Twin: 42″ wide x 78.75″ deep x 36.5″ high
Full: 58″ wide x 78.75″ deep x 36.5″ high
Queen: 64″ wide x 84.75″ deep x 36.5″ high
King: 80″ wide x 84.75″ deep x 36.5″ high
From floor to top of wood slats: 12″.
Can be customized to different height.

Willoughby Platform Bed
- Our Willoughby Platform Bed is available in all standard sizes for use with a mattress only – no box spring needed.
- Solid hardwood construction- primary wood: cherry, walnut or red oak.
- Secondary wood; structural components such as slats and supporting parts under the mattress are either maple or red oak chosen for strength.
- Constructed using sturdy mortise and tenon joinery and hardware fasteners.
- Locally sourced, sustainably harvested hardwood.
- Mattress supported by array of hardwood slats.
- The Willoughby Bed is designed to accommodate our under-bed storage boxes.
