Our Society Library Side Chair, crafted in our Brooklyn workshop is offered in cherry, walnut and red oak.

The joinery is true mortise and tenon construction with finger jointed corner blocking under the seat. We have been making chairs for over thirty years and we know from testing that finger-jointed corner blocks are the secret to long chair life.

We use only natural plant oils and beeswax as a finish.

The seat is a webbed and padded upholstered seat covered in your choice of material (at additional cost).

In our showroom we have samples of the entire line of Sensuede microfibers which make an ideal seat covering.  Sensuede is an elegant, supple, high performance textile made with recycled fibers. It is breathable, comfortable and cleanable,  Sensuede is available is more than a hundred colors and textures.
