For a Riverside Drive family room we created a bookcase over lateral filing drawers with a central writing desk. The desk features a pull out writing surface that increases its depth. Large compositions are precision crafted from several modules that are assembled on site for a very exact fit.
We can construct specific solutions for almost any design need; from solid wood and to very precise measurements.
The credenza pictured here is a combination of walnut and cherry.
We can work in any of the locally occuring hardwoods for example cherry, walnut, maple or oak.
The cabinet pictured is comprised of three modular units; the center unit is 14” deep, 79” high and fitted with upper glass and lower wood paneled doors. The two flanking units are 69” high and 12” deep; all three units in this example are 31 ½” wide (outside dimension).
The three units can be bolted together after installation and each unit has levelers built into the base that can be adjusted from above the lowest shelf so that the cabinets can be installed and leveled to fit on uneven floors.
In this manner we are able to construct large and complex combinations that can be transported and installed quite easily with a minimum of on-site work. Although the construction appears unified, the constituent units are easily disassembled for moving and relocation. The construction shown consists of bookcase units with doors on the center section. It is possible to include any of the dresser drawer modules (see dresser pages), as shown in the examples below which are on display in our showroom
