Presented below are some of the configurations for free standing dressers from our Wallabout Bay collection made in our own workshop. In many cases these dressers can be combined with each other and/or other cabinetry to create larger compositions.
These "storage walls" have the advantage of being able to be disassembled and moved quite easily. Additionally these are many styling options available within the context of any individual piece or composition; such as drawer face detailing, door detail, shape of top, side treatment, handles and knobs, etc.
All of our case work is constructed from solid cherry, the drawers are crafted from solid maple with dovetailed corners; drawer bottoms and case backs are of high grade veneer core ply for stability. Our cases are fashioned using mortise and tenon joinery for enduring strength and rigidity.
