Our Hawthorne Bed is similar to the Broadway and Turtle Bay styles with spindles in the headboard turned on their axis 45 degrees.
We now can adapt the headboard height to accommodate any thickness mattress.
We will be happy to make any of our beds in any size you wish and can accommodate almost any modification that you might require.

The queen size bed shown here features domed cherry bolt covers. It is also available with brass bolt covers from Horton Brasses.
We construct our beds by inserting steel bolts through the posts into a captured nut in the side rail. Our long experience in making bed frames (and examining old frames that have endured) has led us to the conviction that this method will ensure decades, if not centuries, of trouble free service.
